What We Stand For
Our goal is to create a welcoming and memorable experience that patients, visitors and staff can take away with them.
Whether it is your first time in the restaurant or you pop in every day, our team aims to create a friendly space for everyone to enjoy.
We pride ourselves on partnering with those who supply only sustainable and well sourced products. This consists of using free range eggs, Red Tractor meats and MSC fish in all our dishes. It’s important to us that our dishes not only look and taste amazing but are full of great nutrients and health benefits.
It has become our mission to include as many vegetarian and vegan options as possible into our daily menus. Not only are we introducing new and exciting dishes to our customers, but we’re also being more sustainable and protecting the planet.
Reusable Containers Scheme
At RJAH we’re always looking for ways to become more sustainable. One way we’re tackling this is through the reusable containers scheme.
By purchasing one of our signature green boxes for just £5, you’re able to take food anywhere. Switch out your dirty container for a tag and next time you come in, we’ll have a fresh container for you.
Purchase one of our reusable coffee cups for £3 to earn a handy takeaway cup and a free drink upon first purchase.
We're a hero - Love British Food Hero
We're proud to be a love British Food Hero that cares about supporting and promoting quality British products sourced locally.
We first signed up after seeing the benefits of regenerative farming and the provenance of Hereford beef first-hand. The experience inspired us to fully embed in local farms and display our use of quality British products.
In 2026, Love British Food celebrates its 25th anniversary and we’re proud to be a part of their NHS programme that encourages trusts to utilise British produce in dishes.
Daniel Hoggett, Catering Manager, said: “We already buy British, but it’s something we don’t shout out about. We don’t let our patients know. Moving forward, I think we need to reach out to local farms, look out for new contenders, and see what we can achieve.”
