Powys Ward is a 28-bed ward which specialises in looking after patients who have had hip and knee replacements.

The ward is divided into four bays of six beds. There are four single rooms, two of which have en suite facilities. Most patients have a bed in one of the six-bedded bays, with the single rooms being used for those who may need isolating for a variety of reasons.

Male and female patients are nursed in separate areas: bays 1 and 3 are for male patients, bays 2 and 4 for female patients. You will NEVER be put in an area with patients of the opposite sex. There are separate washing and toilet facilities for male and female patients.

Visiting is permitted on the ward at:

1.30pm - 5pm

6.30pm - 8pm
