What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Medical Information

If you are under the care of a Consultant at RJAH we will have access to clinic notes, details of you surgery, x-rays and scans (if applicable). However, if you are not a patient of RJAH, please bring along any referral letters, scans and reports that you think might be relevant.

Suitable Clothing

Please wear or bring clothing that makes it easy for the therapist to assess the part of your body requiring treatment. We have changing rooms, and showers available on request. Depending on your condition, you might be expected to undress down to your underwear, in order for a complete assessment to be carried out. Please let us know in advance if you require a private room so this can be arranged.

How do I pay?

If you have private health insurance, please provide your policy number and authorisation code when booking your appointment. Each insurance policy is different and we advise you to check that your treatment is covered, how many sessions you are allocated or if there is a limit to your treatment cost.

If you are self-funding you will be invoiced when you are discharged or after each batch of six sessions.

You will need to sign on each visit to confirm your attendance.
