What to expect?

On your initial appointment you will be assessed by a Health and Care Professional's Council (HCPC)  registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. The assessment will involve asking you questions regarding your current problem along with your past medical history, and carrying out a health screen.

Please make a note of any medications that you are taking and bring this along with you.

After this subjective assessment your therapist will perform a physical assessment.

Following this assessment your therapist will make a decision on your condition from which they will be able to suggest the best way to treat you. Your therapist will discuss your treatment plan and allow you to make an informed decision about your care.

You can expect to be at your initial appointment for between 30 and 60 minutes. Subsequent appointments will be 30 minutes in duration.
