Administration

Orthotics administration manage outpatient clinic utilisation, patient waiting times and reduction in Did Not Attend (DNA) wastage. 

We also provide an inpatient service, treating patients that have been admitted to our respective Trust wards and departments on a daily basis.

We also deliver private consultations where requested.

RJAH

The Administration Team are based onsite at RJAH. The team consists of 13 administrators, across booking, despatch, ordering and audio, along with an admin manager, who manage all daily Trust and departmental needs and demands for the good and benefit for our patients.

RJAH is required to manage Referral to Treatment (RTT) and non-RTT waiting lists, while supporting numerous varied clinics with several specialities with KAFO, OA knee and scoliosis. The team also assist with ORLAU patient transfers and support stretching clinic in Children's Outpatients on a weekly basis.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals (SaTH)

The SaTH Admin Team are based offsite of RJAH at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital in Telford. Across the two sites, the team consists of five administrators, with an admin manager, co-located to manage all SaTH daily needs and demands.

The largest cohort of SaTH patients are diabetic. SaTH support with various multi-disciplinary clinics with these patients, including vascular, podiatry and endocrinology, which is an ever-growing service with critical time frames for treatment.
