Mr George Orfanos is a fellowship-trained trauma and hip and knee arthroplasty surgeon. He completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Birmingham and undertook his higher specialist orthopaedic training on the highly regarded Oswestry/Stoke rotation. He has completed advanced fellowships in hip arthroplasty, periprosthetic fracture management, oncology, infection and complex revision surgery, as well as a pelvic and arthroplasty fellowship. Mr Orfanos has a strong academic interest with multiple peer-reviewed publications and national and international presentations, and he was awarded the Professor’s Medal at the RJAH Research Day. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and is actively involved in teaching and training orthopaedic trainees. 'Mr Orfanos has served in the Cyprus national military and has a particular interest in Veterans' healthcare.
