RJAH Charity and Adrenaline Sports set to go the distance together

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) is delighted to strengthen its partnership with Adrenaline Sporting Events for 2026.
RJAH Charity has been named the charity partner for the Ellesmere 10K Run – a new race added to the Adrenaline Sporting Events calendar alongside the popular Chirk 10K.
The partnership will see runners taking on both events while raising vital funds to support patients, staff and services at RJAH, with organisers encouraging people of all abilities to lace up and get involved.
The Ellesmere 10K is set to attract runners from across Shropshire and beyond, offering a brand-new opportunity for people to challenge themselves while supporting their local orthopaedic hospital charity.
Following the success of the Chirk 10K partnership, both RJAH Charity and Adrenaline Sports are hoping even more people will sign up in 2026.
Victoria Sugden, Charity Director at RJAH Charity, said: “We are thrilled to continue and strengthen our partnership with Adrenaline Sports through the addition of the Ellesmere 10K.
“These events are a fantastic way for people to support RJAH Charity while taking on a personal challenge, whether they are experienced runners or trying a 10K for the first time.
“Every runner who signs up and fundraises helps us continue making a real difference for our patients and staff – we would love to see as many people as possible getting involved and joining Team RJAH.”
Alan Lewis, Owner and Founder of Adrenaline Sporting Events, said: “Adrenaline Sporting Events is thrilled to be working with RJAH on this summer’s Chirk 10k and Ellesmere 10k.
“Partnering with local charities is very important to us and we are looking forward to working with the team across the two events to ensure vital funds are raised.”
The Chirk 10k is taking place on July 12th, with Ellesmere 10k taking place on August 23rd. Places for both events are expected to be popular, with participants encouraged to secure their place early in support of RJAH.
Charity places are available for £15 per runner, per event, with participants asked to raise a minimum of £150 to support patients and services at RJAH.
