Industrial Action Update - June 2026

Some Resident Doctors at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital will be on strike from 7am on Monday 15 June until 6.59am on Friday 19 June as part of industrial action by the British Medical Association (BMA).

Our priority as a Trust is to make sure the safety of our patients is maintained during this period.

We would urge patients with appointments on one of these four days to attend as planned unless you hear otherwise from us.

We are contacting directly any patient whose appointment needs to be rescheduled as a result of strike action. If you do not hear from us, you should therefore assume your appointment is not impacted and will go ahead as planned.
