Nicki Bellinger

Nicki qualified as a registered nurse in 1991 and has since worked in many NHS organisations. She joined the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps in 1992 and served as an Army Officer for 8 years leaving the military in 2000.
Nicki specialised in many areas of intensive care nursing and joined RJAH in October 2000 to set up the RJAH first critical care unit. She was also appointed as one of the UK’s first Nurse Consultants.
Nicki has held several senior nursing posts during her service here at RHAH including Chief Nurse, Deputy Chief Nurse, and Assistant Chief Nurse.
In addition to this, Nicki has also worked at various universities across the West Midlands as Senior Lecturer Lead for the Critical Care Courses. At a national level Nicki has been on several steering groups shaping patient safety and nursing.
