Jan Greasley
Public Governor - North Wales
Jan is a lifelong resident of Chirk, near Wrexham, and completed her orthopaedic nurse training at RJAH. She then went on to qualify as a State Registered Nurse in Wrexham, before returning to RJAH as a Ward Sister.
She later specialised in healthcare quality, which allowed her to work with colleagues from other professional groups, patients, the public and other stakeholders in securing high-quality care. She retired from RJAH in October 2007 with her last position being Head of Clinical Governance.
Following retirement, Jan spent eight years (the maximum term) as a Welsh Assembly Government appointed member of the North Wales Community Health Council (CHC).
Jan has previous been part of the Council of Governors at RJAH - this included time as Lead Governor and Freedom to Speak Up Guardian. She returned to the Council in November 2024.
