Clwyd is a Trauma and Orthopaedic ward, specialising in a variety of orthopaedic conditions/diseases and deformities, including total joint replacements and spinal surgery (trauma and planned). We admit patients from the age of 16 years. There are 28 beds.
We utilise a patient-centred approach to our patients, encouraging empowerment amongst staff and patients. We practice "Patient Protected Meal Times" as one element to the patient-centred approach.
