Quality Accounts are an annual report to the public about the quality of services that healthcare providers deliver and their plans for improvement The purpose of the quality account is to enable:
- Patients, their carers and families to make informed choices about the provider of their healthcare.
- Boards of NHS providers to report on their services and to set their priorities for the following
Healthcare providers measure the quality of the services they provide by looking at:
- Patient safety
- The effectiveness of treatments that patients receive
- Patient feedback about the care provided
Our Quality Account contains information about the quality of our services, the improvements we have made during the financial year and sets out our key priorities for the forthcoming year. The report also includes feedback from our patients on how well they think we are doing.
