Shelia Hughes

Sheila has been associated with RJAH since 1974. After training at the hospital, she returned to work there for 20 years as a Sister then Ward Manager after completing her state registration and midwifery training.
Sheila still works as a Practice Development Health Visitor in North Wales but has continued to have a very keen interest in the Hospital and is the Secretary of the League of Oswestry Nurses.
A Welsh speaker, Sheila wants to ensure that the patients voice is heard and that patients receive the best possible care and the highest standards are maintained.
