Simon Jones
Stakeholder Governor for Shropshire Council
Simon was a civil servant for over 30 years and took compulsory early retirement in 1995.
Since 2009, he has been a Shropshire Councillor where he has previously held the Portfolio Holder for Adult Services and he is currently the Chairman of the Health and Adult Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee and Joint Chairman of the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee with Telford and Wrekin Council. His Shropshire Council work involves Simon regularly working and linking in with healthcare services across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.
He has also been a Partner Governor for Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust for 12 years until he stood down in May of this year.
