Overview

Admin manage outpatient clinic utilisation, patient waiting times and reduction in DNA wastage. We also provide an inpatient service to treat patients that have been admitted to our respective Trust sites on a daily basis.

We aspire to provide outstanding service delivery to all our patients, colleagues and Trust locations.

RJAH

The RJAH Admin Team are based onsite at the hospital in Gobowen. The team consists of six administrators, with an admin manager, who manage all daily Trust and departmental needs and demands.

RJAH is required to manage RTT waiting lists, whilst running numerous varied clinics with several specialised clinics in KAFO, OA knee and Boston. The team also assist with ORLAU patient transfers and support stretching clinic in Children’s Outpatients Department on a weekly basis.

SaTH

The Shrewbury and Telford Hospital (SaTH) Admin Team are based off site of RJAH at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital in Telford. Across the two sites, the team consists of five administrators, with an admin manager, co-located to manage all SaTH daily admin needs and demands.

The largest cohort of our SaTH patients are diabetic. SaTH support various multi-disciplinary clinics with these patients, including vascular, podiatry and endocrinology, which is an ever-growing service with critical time frames for treatment.
