All aspects of ankle, hind, mid and forefoot surgery, including sporting and traumatic injuries and problems associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Varied procedures undertaken including bunion surgery, forefoot disorders, arthroscopic procedures, surgery for foot and ankle arthritis and deformity.

Qualified from the University of Liverpool and then underwent basic surgical training on the Mersey Deanery Rotation, before being appointed on the Stoke/ Oswestry rotation. During his final years of training he underwent sub specialty training in his chosen field of Foot and Ankle surgery, including a Fellowship with the Sheffield Foot and Ankle Unit.
