Dr Moore's intersts include anaesthetic management of high risk patients, ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia, anaesthesia for complex and revision surgery, total intravenous anaesthesia and enhanced recovery. He also has an interest in patient safety and human factors.

Dr Moore achieved first-class honours in a Bachelor of Science degree from Leicester Medical School in 1980 before going on to gain his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) from Leicester Medical School in 1983. In 1985, Dr Moore completed his Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) in London and then going on to gain his Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), also in London. In 1992, Dr Moore completed his Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) examination in London.

Dr Moore has held Consultant posts in Hereford, Telford and Pembrokeshire before joining RJAH in 2017.

Dr Moore's sub-specialities include high-dependency care and paediatric anaesthesia.

Dr Moore completed his anaesthetic training at Bristol and Southwest Hospitals from 1990 - 1993. In 1993, he became a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his Higher Professional Training at Gloucester and Bristol Hospitals in 1994.
