RJAH cordially invites you to a most splendid Bridgerton inspired charity ball

Dearest Gentle Reader, it is with great pleasure that The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital Charity (RJAH) cordially extends an invitation to a most enchanting affair of the season — a grand Bridgerton Ball.

The ball, set for Saturday 2^nd November at The Sweeney Hall Hotel in Oswestry, will be nothing short of spectacular, offering a night of revelry and splendour whilst championing a noble cause close to the heart.

In the finest tradition of high society, this evening promises to transport guests to the opulent world of Regency England. Attendees shall be immersed in an atmosphere that Lady Whistledown herself would envy.

Guests will be treated to a lavish dining experience, beginning with exquisite canapés, followed by a delightful main course, decadent desserts, and a welcome drink upon arrival.

The night’s entertainment shall be equally splendid, with graceful Regency dancers transporting guests back to the glittering ballrooms of the past, live music to enchant the senses, and an evening DJ to ensure the merriment continues well into the night.

While Regency attire is encouraged for those wishing to embrace the spirit of the ton, it is by no means required.

Dr Ruth Longfellow, Chief Medical Officer, said: "We are hoping to recreate the fun and revelry had by all who came to the RJAH Hospital Ball that took place back in December 2019.

“This was then followed by the difficult covid years, when plans to organise further balls were scuppered.

“The Bridgerton Ball will be a perfect opportunity for everyone to socialise with their colleagues outside of work, create memories and dance the night away. Hopefully see you there!"

All proceeds from the ball will benefit the vital work of RJAH. It promises to be the social event of the year, uniting hospital supporters and Bridgerton enthusiasts alike for a cause that shall make a lasting impact.
