Are you passionate about excellent healthcare provision in your local community? Do you feel you can represent the views of the communities where you live? Are you a Member of the Foundation Trust?

If your answers to the above questions are yes then you are the sort of person to join the Council of Governors at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital.

There are various Governor vacancies open and nominations from candidates with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds are invited to join the Council of Governors.

Harry Turner, Trust Chairman, said: “As a Foundation Trust, we have the flexibility to provide health services that our communities need, and our elected Governors play a crucial role in ensuring the views of the wider community are taken into account in providing and developing services.”

“The Governors are responsible for overseeing how the Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) hold the Board of Directors and Senior Leaders to account – a close working relationship between the Governors and NEDs is vital to ensure the Trust delivers world class patient care.”
