Orthotics video consultations

With the support of NHS England and NHS Improvement, we are now offering video consultation to some of our patients. This forms part of our response to the COVID-19.

Attend Anywhere is a secure NHS video call service for patients with pre-arranged appointment times only. The decision to offer this type of appointment will be made by a clinician depending on your individual care needs.

Video consultations are easy to use and are often more convenient.

Please note: Attend Anywhere will not work on Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers, if you’re using a desktop, laptop or Andriod tablet/smartphone please download Google Chrome or if using a Mac, iPad or iPhone, you’ll need to use Safari.

Make sure you join the video appointment from a stable internet connection and a private area.

My appointment

If you are due to have a video consultation, we will schedule your appointment as normal and send you the details of the appointment date and time.

Five minutes before your appointment time, click on the link below. You will then be prompted to enter your first name, last name, date of birth and phone number.  The information you submit will help us to identify you, please click ‘submit’ to proceed.

Once signed in, please wait for your clinician to greet you.

(We will not store the details you submit and any details will be transferred securely).

To make the most out of your video consultation, we ask that you are prepared by using the following steps:

  • Have a safe area which is clear of obstructions with space for you to stand and walk if able
  • Have a set-up where you can place your device or camera so you can show the clinician your affected body part, or have someone to hold the device to film you
  • Be ready to start the appointment by wearing appropriate clothing. Make sure you have no socks or shoes if we are assessing your legs. If the clinician in reviewing an orthosis, please have this ready to view
