What we spend and how we spend it

In this section we set out information on the Trust's Income and Expenditure

 Income & Expenditure 

  • Annual Accounts are included in our Annual Report
  • Details of Income and Expenditure are included in the Finance Report, which is included in the Performance report which goes to monthly Trust Board Meetings
  • A full listing of expenditure over £25k can be found in the Expenditure publication
  • Future expenditure plans are in the Annual Plan

Capital Expenditure

  • Capital expenditure plans are included in the Annual Plan
  • Monthly capital expenditure is included in the Finance report, which is included in the performance report which goes to monthly Trust Board Meetings.

Staff Payments

  • Details of the Director's pay is in the Annual Report
  • Details of the Director's expenses can be found here.
  • Non-medical staff are paid on "Agenda for Change" terms and conditions. More information on these can be found on the NHS Employers website.
  • Medical staff are paid in accordance with the national Consultant Contract
  • Number of staff employed and salary costs can be found in the Annual Report 

Financial and procurement rules

  • The framework for financial procedures and procurement are shown in the Standing Financial Instructions
  • Tenders are managed on behalf of the Trust by Shropshire Healthcare Procurement Service
