Apprenticeships

RJAH recognises the value of apprenticeships and are seeking to offer apprenticeship opportunities across the Trust.

An apprenticeship is a real job, with real training, meaning you can earn while you learn and gain the necessary skills and professional competencies in your chosen career.

All apprenticeships include elements of on the job and off the job training leading to industry recognised standards or qualifications.

More details on salaries and entry criteria in specific apprenticeship occupations can be found on www.gov.uk and search apprenticeships.

Apprentices are:

  • employed for a minimum 18 month period
  • paid a training salary
  • employed by the Trust and receive the same terms and conditions as permanent members of staff
  • able to undertake a standard or framework competency based qualification which is acquired through the workplace experience, while being supported by regular attendance at college and/or a tutor who visits them in the workplace
  • provided with training and development opportunities

All apprenticeship vacancies can be found here.
