Board of Directors

The Board of Directors comprises 11 members, with four Executive Directors and five Non-Executive Directors; in addition to the Chairman and the Chief Executive.

Non-Executive Directors are members of the NHS Trust's board of Directors but do not have any involvement in day-to-day management of the Trust. They provide the board with independent challenge and scrutiny.

 
Board Committees

The Trust has a governance structure to ensure the Board can monitor, evaluate and enhance performance. Members of the Board meet monthly and also have membership of the following committees:

  • Audit
  • Quality & Safety
  • Business Risk & Investment
  • Charitable Funds
  • Nomination and Renumeration
